11th Game of the Season

Continued.

My son's team, the Yankees, played against his old team, the Braves. If you follow my blog, you'll probably remember the blog entry explaining how he ended up with the Braves during the fall season.

Naturally, while with the Braves, he made friends. But these old friends remember him and it sort of became a motivation for them to play hard against their old teammate.

How hard did they played? Well, the Braves knew when my son was at bat. An old teammate caught his pop fly. They also tried to tag him out at third, when the play was as first--my son instead held his position at second base.

My son did slide to homeplate to score a point for his team in a dramatic close play. But the Braves, who have yet to win a game, did try their best to beat the Yankees.

The final score, was 4 to 3, Yankees.

My son's stats, so far:

Game 1: AB: 2 H: 2 R: 0 RBI: 2
